As medical researches are being focused more on honey, more it is becoming one of basic ingredients in various medications. There’s a reason so many cough medicines are flavored with honey — it’s not solely due to taste. Rather, honey is excellent, natural cough supressant. Due to the following studies, we bring to you night coughs treatment on base of honey. One study found that buckwheat honey outperformed the cough suppressant dextromethorphan (DM) in combating night time coughs in kids. In another study, researchers gave children with colds 2 teaspoons of honey 30 minutes before bed – they coughed less frequently and less severely when compared to those who didn’t get honey. What is Night Coughs Treatment?
Treatment for this issue is actually very simple. Read details below:
Ingredients: 1/2 tablespoons lemon zest, 1/4 cup sliced ginger, 1 cup water, 1 cup honey, 1/2 cup lemon juice
Preparation and usage: Add all ingredients except honey to a small pan, bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Strain into a heat-proof vessel. Heat honey on low temperature so that it wouldn’t boil, and then stir it into the other mixture. Pour into a clean jar and seal. This mixture can be refrigerated for up to two months. Dosing should be as follows:
Children which are 1 to 5 years old will use 1/2 to 1 teaspoon every two hours. Those which are older, from 5 to 12 years will use 1-2 teaspoon every two hours. Children older than 12 and adults will use 1 to 2 tablespoon every 4 hours.

Honey should never be heated… It gets agglutinated and becomes harmful on heating…

Different types of Honey have different Nutrients.Heated Honey does lose it’s nutrients but no it does not become dangerous if done properly, at least the Natural one doesn’t. I am not responsible for fake Honey. Thank you for contribution.
